Poem- I Laugh at You...

Triggering wars and unnecessary deaths
The bombs hitting and striking every time
All countries going into debt
Nobody says anything; they think it’s no crime
And I laugh at you...

The love and respect we lost
That all has its own cost
We can die any time of the day
We have no thoughts, nothing to say
And I laugh at you...

Billions of dollars spent on bombs and ammunition
While starving children lose their lives
It’s all about the competition
People kill one another with their knives
And I laugh at you...

Bangs and booms are the sounds you hear
The thousands of people who live in fear
The world eats us one by one
When will this all be done?
And I laugh at you...

You don’t know when it will come
It might be scary to some
25 feet waves eating houses, people, and cars
All those diseases including SARS
And I laugh at you...

The air planes crashing into buildings
The war in Iraq that’s just about winning
The disputes we have between one another
My heart is broken to see that’s it’s not over
And I laugh at you...

Pow, pow, there’s another gang shooting
The poor kids in needy countries dying
The whole world is falling apart
I guess that means we won’t get a new start
And I laugh at you...

We were suppose to have guardian angels by our side
But they left us alone all those times we cried
Lying is no longer an issue
We need to work together in order to get through
And I laugh at you...

I hope one day this will all end
So we can live happily together again
That’s when HE will stop laughing
