Big News!

I know its been a while since I last wrote, but I have a good excuse, I swear! My big news is that we got married! I couldn't be more thrilled about sharing this news. I can honestly say it was one of the most beautiful days of my life.

I have some more great news...I will be officially starting my free-lance business as a make-up artist and photographer in addition to being a public relations specialist. Many new adventures are in the near future, which is refreshing and exciting. Definitely looking forward to it all!

All of my work will be encompassed on one website which I will post once it's all completed and I'm ready to start!

As for everything else, I can tell you that that I'm exactly where I'm meant to be. I will reveal our love story in my book that I am currently working on. Till then I will keep all the details secret.

I have had many new experiences this year and this summer, some that I will cherish and some that I couldn't forget soon enough. Through it all, I have learned so much, which I believe is the sole purpose of living...creating experiences. Some are better than others but like I have stated before, the bad times are your defining moments in life and your reaction and the way you approach the situation is very telling about the kind of person you truly are. I call then character qualities. You want to be that person that handles things with grace, elegance, and professionalism.

I must be the first one to admit that we don't always handle things the way we want or without emotion, but as long as you keep humble and admit to being human and making mistakes, people will most likely be more understanding and forgiving.

I can now safely say that I am so happy where I am and how hard I have worked to get here today. It hasn't always been an easy road, but it's always been worth it. I love writing because in a sense, it frees me. It's a chance to get everything off my heart and express myself through the poetry of words. The most challenging thing I ever wrote was by far my book. It has made me see myself through another lens. You can really see how you saw yourself and how others saw you. I'm not exactly sure if that's a good thing or bad, but I guess once I publish you can see for yourself.

I know you have all been waiting for me to talk more about the wedding, and I will once I have visual to accompany our beautiful love story. Not only is it my love story and obviously I love it, but I think all you readers will too. I can safely say we were really meant to be.

This is the first time in my life that I am not going back to school, or taking classes, which is really foreign to me. Although I am nostalgic about those times, I am excited for my new life as a wife. I sometimes find myself missing ship life, but then I think about all the memories in the making and those trump ship life on the best of days.

I am currently loving my new hectic life, being a new wife, starting my own business, and enjoying my well deserved vacation.
